Life at Allens

Brittney Nielsen

Early Careers Consultant

With over 7 years of experience in recruitment, I transitioned into Early Careers roles in 2022, and in 2024, I joined Allens in Perth as an Early Careers Consultant.

In my role, I’m passionate about helping young professionals build a strong foundation for their careers and offering the support they need to thrive. I’m proud to contribute to Allens, a firm that values collaboration, inclusivity, and excellence. As the co-National Education and Training Portfolio Lead for ALLin (LGBTQIA+) committee, I work to foster a diverse and welcoming environment where everyone feels supported and valued.

Alongside my hands-on experience, I hold a Mental Health First Aid Certificate and have completed an Internal HR & Consulting Skills Course with the Australian HR Institute (AHRI). These qualifications allow me to provide well-rounded support to early-career professionals, ensuring that their career development is complemented by a focus on mental well-being.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, spending time with my husband James and our two cats, Ivy and Harley. I’m driven by a passion for creating spaces where young talent feels empowered, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
